You might think “big deal, any program can combine PDFs”. To stack a document in PageManager, you drag one file on top of the other one, or you select a bunch of files and hit the Stack button. This can be extra handy if you have a scanner that scans one page per image. Stacking is a way to group files together so that you can do something with them. Another use case is that you might want to rename a bunch of files all at once. Sometimes you want to send information to someone, but it is contained in multiple files.

One cool feature of PageManager is the concept of Stacking and Unstacking. I guess what you’d need to do is split the document and then re-join it without the split out page?
